How my journey began

Corey Ann; the founder of Gypsy Jasmine Wellness is a gypsy soul from Massachusetts that now lives in the sunny state of Florida. She is a proud and passionate dog/cat mom, aspiring plant momma, and travel enthusiast.

Corey grew up living in chronic pain and constantly struggling with her weight, body image & mental health. She was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and depression at a young age and after a difficult battle full of tests, pharmaceuticals and wasting many years going to Western Medical Doctors; her journey led her to find yoga. This practice opened her up to seeking other healing alternatives for wellness which lead her to breathwork & fascia release and the rest is history. This influenced the way her life shifted and changed forever.

Corey works closely with athletes, yogis, those that suffer with acute or chronic pain & everyday humans. Her passion lies in the belief that true health extends beyond the physical and touches every aspect of our lives. Coreys gentle yet powerful approach to yoga invites you to embrace your unique journey, fostering a space of acceptance, growth, and inner peace. Her teachings are creative and empower you to find relief, unravel tensions, unlock vitality, and reclaim your bodys innate wisdom through a fusion of yoga, mindfulness, somatic practices and holistic pain management techniques. She is deeply grateful and so thrilled to share and connect on this journey with you! Each session is uniquely crafted for you to go through a mindful exploration, a pathway to release, rejuvenate, and reclaim a life free from the constraints of pain. Embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing, unlocking the profound connection between body, mind, and spirit.

Corey believes that movement truly is medicine and that it is for “every body”(big, small, white, black, green, tall, short etc) No one should let their pain take over their life and she is here to give you hope. Corey’s teaching and guiding is fused with mindful creative movement as a celebration of what the body can do.

Why “Gypsy Jasmine Wellness”?

Here is my why-this girl right here….

My best friend and heart dog, Jasmine, grew up by my side for 12½ years before she transitioned in 2021 after a long battle with cancer. As sad and heartbreaking as it was, it was also one of the most beautiful experiences of my life that I got to share with her.

Over the years, Jasmine had a few external masses that we had removed, and she would be perfectly fine for years at a time. Then one day, she started showing some very concerning symptoms, so I brought her to the vet immediately.

After running some tests, the vet told me she wouldn’t even make it through the night and recommended that I put her to sleep right then and there.

As I held her tightly, I screamed and cried, but something in my heart told me it just wasn’t her time yet. I trusted my intuition, took her home, and immediately started researching alternative and holistic approaches that could help support her and prolong her life.

We took a different path, and Jasmine ended up living for more than another year.

Jasmine taught me so much during her time here on Earth. She taught me unconditional love, but she also opened my eyes even more to the power of natural healing and the importance of trusting your own intuition.

I am so grateful I listened to that little voice inside me and decided to take her home that night. Because of that decision, we were given another beautiful year of memories, love, and time together.

I miss her immensely, but I believe she is still guiding me along my journey today.

My business name and everything I offer here is in honor of her. 🐾💗

Why I do what I do today?

I share all that I do today in hopes of helping others learn to trust their intuition and allow it to guide them toward finding what feels good in their own bodies.

My journey with pain and addiction has taught me that no one should have to struggle through life with chronic pain and unfortunately, so many people do.

I’ve learned that through mindful movement, powerful fascia release, breathwork, and rewiring the mind, we are capable of creating real change and reconnecting with our bodies in a whole new way.

Allow me to be your guide. 💛

“In between where you are and where you want to be, there is endless, boundless peace. There is an opportunity to be still, as you find yourself in the gap between the past and the future, knowing that this is the space where you were called to come alive. And it’s okay if you feel uncertain here. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You are free to take this moment by moment, and see the wholeness of it all: some things will be difficult. Some things will be easier. Some things will make sense, while other things leave you with questions. But all together, these mountains and valleys create a landscape, where somehow, through it all, everything finds its place.✨”
